Birth Debriefing
Your Story Matters
Giving birth is one of the most transformative experiences that a woman will go through, and no matter how your birth unfolds, the memories of your birth will stay with you always.
Birth debriefing allows you the opportunity to tell your birth story in a way that feels safe for you. Through debriefing, you have the opportunity to process your birth more fully and make sense of your experience.
For many women, it's not just the birth that they wish to discuss, and I would be honoured to hear any parts of your story from conception through to postpartum that you would like to share.
Why choose birth debriefing...
Women choose to have debriefing for many different reasons, here are some common ones that might resonate:
- You want a safe space to reflect on your birth experience.
- You want to make sense of and process your birth experience.
- Your feel your birth is impacting on your experience of motherhood.
- You have ongoing memories of your birth that you find upsetting.
- When you think about your birth, you have feelings that feel unresolved.
- You want support to process unexpected events that occurred during your birth.
- You feel your birth experience is impacting on your parenting.
- You are pregnant or planning for another baby, and your previous birth is impacting on this.
- You want validation, reassurance and support.
- You want to acknowledge and honour your birth experience.

I am a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience, and have spent my career supporting mums with their emotional health and parenting.
I'm deeply passionate about allowing mums to be seen and heard - and believe that when mum is looked after then the whole family thrives.
